Make sure ALL of your important documents/files are backed up to the OneDrive!
I recommend organizing folders in the Documents folder and keeping the Desktop clear, because the Desktop is more prone to sync issues.
By default, the Documents, Pictures and Desktop folders should all be syncing. (The Downloads folder does not sync by default, but can be added)

What is OneDrive?
OneDrive is our cloud storage service. It allows you to:
- Store files online and access them from any device
- Automatically back up important folders (like Documents, Pictures, Desktop)
- Share files and collaborate with colleagues in real-time
- Free up space on your computer by storing files in the cloud
How do I know if OneDrive is syncing? What do these status icons mean?
- Look for your personal OneDrive in the File Explorer sidebar (a blue cloud next to your name)
- Green checkmarks on file/folder icons indicate they're synced
- A circular arrow icon means the file/folder is currently syncing
- The white cloud means the file/folder is in the cloud but not necessarily cached (downloaded) to your PC/Device.
- Right-click on the file/folder for more options, such as Freeing Up Space (delete from computer, keep in cloud) or Always Keep on Device. (download from cloud to device)
